Curtis Schneider

Recovery Specialist Lead

Curt is the lead Recovery Specialist for the men’s residential program at our Twin Town campus in St. Paul, MN. In recovery himself, after a previous career in the building trades, Curt started at Twin Town as a Recovery Specialist in August 2015.

His supervisor Katherine Luttrull says, “Like many of us, Curtis has had to overcome a lot of adversity and struggles in his past to get to where he is at today. He is an inspiration to me, my staff, and the patients of Twin Town.”

Curt has three children of varying ages, and he loves to spend time with them. From shooting hoops with his oldest son to “playing Barbies” with his little girl, he says it’s all good!

“Ever since I started at Twin Town, my supervisor, Kat, was my mentor. But all of my co-workers were great, and like Kat, they pushed me to do all I could. Once I got promoted to the RS Lead position, it felt like they all had my back. They actually gave me the opportunity, gave me a chance to prove what I could do. I took that as a blessing, that I really had the power to try my hardest at something special.”
